"Oh my, what could I say about Dr. Irene Omotoso?! She is the most compassionate doctor that I’ve ever known. She is so gifted at diagnosing problems and getting us better. She is interested in my problems and helps me find solutions. I have so much trust in her. Dr. Omotoso is beautiful and sweet inside and out. The fact that she is a Christian lady is so important to me" -Terry B.
"Dr. Omotoso is definitely a healthcare hero in our family for several reasons. My dad resides in an assistant living home and Dr. Omotoso visits him right in his room. She is always so cheerful and my dad looks forward to seeing her. Even when he doesn't have an appointment, she will take the time to say Hi to him and give him a hug when she sees him. This always makes him so happy. She provides such excellent care to him and all her patients and doesn't over look anything. He has had many health issues this year and she has always makes sure he has the best treatments possible. My mom resides in a memory care home and Dr. Irene Omotoso also visits her there. My mom has late stage Alzheimers and it can be hard to examine her but Dr. Omotoso is always so patient with her and my mom receives the care she needs. The compassion and kindness that Dr. Omotoso gives all her patients is amazing and our family is very grateful for the communication we have with her when it comes to both my parents. We could not be happier with such an amazing doctor." -Diane S.
Meet Our Doctor
Dr. Irene Omotoso MD, A Caring and Experienced Physician
Originally from West Africa, I completed my Residency Training at Albert Einstein School of Medicine in New York in 2003. My husband, also an Internal Medicine Physician, and I chose to settle in Georgia in 2005 because the weather and people are warm. We have two awesome children, a son, and a daughter, and we are part of the Go Church family, where I enjoy working at the Children's Ministry.
I have more than 15 years of experience as a Board Certified Internal Medicine Doctor. I have practiced medicine as a hospital physician and as an academic physician while on faculty at Morehouse School of Medicine. Waterfalls Medical Practice contracts with Senior Living Facilities in Fayette, Coweta and South Fulton counties and we see patients in our office during office hours Mondays through Friday by appointment.
Our goal is to give you better and more personal access to primary care. If you get admitted to the hospital, we will coordinate with hospital physicians to care for you and provide transitional care once discharged to ensure that you do not get readmitted or at least decrease the risk of readmission.
